Spooling Winches
ACE Winches manufactures a range of standard and bespoke spooling winches, designed to facilitate the installation or removal of wire, rope or umbilicals from winches or storage reels under constant back tension.
The standard diesel hydraulic product range comprises spooling winches with maximum reel weight capacities from of 50 - 250 Tonnes. This is supplemented by a smaller range of pneumatic spooling winches and traction capstan winches for use in conjunction with a spooling winch when higher levels of back tension are required.
Types of spooling winch:
- Pneumatic Spooling Winches 10 or 25 tonnes reel capacity
- Hydraulic Spooling Winches 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 tonnes reel capacity
- Traction Capstan Spooling Winches providing back tension up to 60 tonnes
