ACE Winches' facilities at Towie Barclay Works host a heavy metal machining workshop that provides clients with access to an extensive range of robust machinery. The machining workshop floor boasts an array of machines, offering flexibility and choice in catering for all types of engineering requirements.
Work floor area: 835 square metres
- 3 x Horizontal borers (with travel of 2.4m)
- 3 x Vertical lathes (up to 1830mm in diameter and 1190mm in height)
- 1 x Vertical lathe - twin column (2790mm in diameter, 1880mm in height; and 3050mm in diameter, 300mm in height)
- 7 x Lathes (up to 2.5m diameter and 4.7m in length)
- Overhead Crane SWL 10te
24-hour, 7 days a week availability
- 3 x Milling machines (with travel of: across: 120mm; breadth: 650mm; height: 450mm)
- Surface grinder (up to 500mm)
- 420mm stroke radial drill (up to 850mm in height and reach of 1500mm)
- 120mm stroke pillar drill (up to 800mm in height and reach of 190mm)
- 600mm stroke horizontal shaper
- 300mm stroke vertical slotting machine
