Fabrication and Welding
ACE Winches' fabrication and welding workshop stretches over more than 1300 square metres, comprising 11 fabrication/and welding bays, all of which are organised around the impressive ‘5S’ principles: ‘Sort, Simplify, Sweep, Standardise and Sustain’. The weld bays, each of which can be extended to accommodate various workscopes, coupled with experienced and trained personnel, provide a workshop with resources that can be tailored to a client's specific requirements.
Total work floor area: 1300 square metres
- 10 x fabrication/welding bays, with dimensions: 4.5m x 5m, each capable of extending a further 12m in length
- 1 x fabrication/welding bay: 10.5m x 7m
- Open floor space of 540 square metres
- Additional open floor space in despatch/assembly area of 280 square metres
- Overhead cranes (combined lift: 25te+20te) with under hook height of 4.5m
24-hour availability
- Coded welders in flux cored, TIG and sub-arc techniques
- Manual Metal Arc (MMA) and Metal Inherit Gas (MIG) welding
- Rolling (capacity: 1.5m x 6mm)
- Folding (capacity: 3m x 4mm)
- Guillotine (2.5m x 13mm)
- Band saw (400mm diameter)
