Initially providing consultancy services to BP for repairs on the FPSO, offering several winch solutions, ACE Winches was then contracted to design and manufacture a 14 tonne replacement double drum messenger winch, used for cross haul and recovery operations of a loading hose.
The winch was delivered within four weeks of the order being placed.
